When the air goes too humid something must be done about it. It won’t just lower its own humidity. A dehumidifier is a house contraption that shrinks the humidity in the air around it. Excess humidity is bad because it can let mold and mildew to acquire as well as attracting such bugs as roaches, fleas, and moths. Cellars often get hit the lowest with high humidness, and when there is mold or mildew someplace, there are health dangers that are associated with those poor things. The regular kind of basement dehumidifiers work much like an air conditioner by condensing the water in the air and accumulating it in a container. They should be looked into for cases of unnecessary humidness.

For those of us without wine basements, we need an artificial solution for correctly storing wine. Some people use vinotemp wine coolers to quickly chill wine to be ready for serving, while others use grand ones to replicate wine basements.
